The Università Commerciale “Luigi Bocconi” (hereinafter, namely “Bocconi” or “Data controller”) is committed to protecting your information. We comply with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other laws governing the processing of personal data.

1. How should I read this Privacy Policy?

This Privacy Policy will answer key questions about how we collect, use and protect information concerning you when you visit the HEU-EFS website and subscribe to the HEU-EFS newsletter.

2. Who is responsible for processing my data?

The entity responsible for the processing of your personal data, in the quality of data controller, is the Università Commerciale “Luigi Bocconi”, Tax code 03628350153, having its registered office in Milano, Via Sarfatti 25.

3. Why do you collect information about me?

We collect information about you for the following purposes:

• To send periodical news about events and other activities carried out by the HEU-EFS consortium to the email address you provide to us by subscribing, if you wish, to our newsletter.

4. What information do you collect, use and store about me?

For the purpose above, we collect, use, store and otherwise process the following information about you:

• Your email address, first name and last name.

5. What is the legal basis for collecting information about me?

The lawful basis we rely on for the processing of your personal data is your consent.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing directly to us at dpo@unibocconi.it.

6. Do you use cookies on your website?

Yes, our website uses cookies. For more detailed information about the cookies used on HEU-EFS website, please refer to our cookie policy.

7. Do you carry out automated decision-making or profiling based on information about me?

No automatic decision-making process is carried out and you are not profiled.

8. Do you share my information with other entities?

We may share your personal data with AMIRES s.r.o, who provides website maintenance and     support services.

9. Do you share my information with entities outside the European Economic Area (the European Economic Area consists of all EU Member States plus Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein)?

Your personal data are not shared outside the European Economic Area.

10. How long do you keep information about me?

Your personal data will be stored for a maximum period of 6(six) years beginning with the subscription to the newsletter. In any case, your personal data will not be kept for more than 2 years since the end of the HEU-EFS project.

11. What action can I take with regard to my information with your company?

You have the right to exercise the rights recognized by the privacy regulations at any time, pursuant to Articles 15-22 of the GDPR. In particular, as a data subject, you have the right to obtain:

1. confirmation as to whether or not personal data is being processed and access to the data and the following information: purpose of processing, categories of personal data, recipients and/or categories of recipients, storage period;
2. the rectification of inaccurate personal data and/or the integration of incomplete data, including by providing a supplementary statement;
3. the erasure, in the cases provided for by the GDPR;
4. the restriction of processing in the cases provided for by the privacy regulations in force;
5. the portability of data and, in particular, the right to request the direct transmission of processed personal data to another Data Controller;
6. the withdrawal of any consent given without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before withdrawal;
7. the objection, at any time, to the processing, pursuant to Article 21 of the GDPR.
